well, it turns out caspi didn't break his toe, he only dislocated it. there is nothing we can do and hopefully the swelling in the joints will reduce as he grows older. but, caspi is a trooper. he woke up the next morning and said, "hey, if I'm going to live with messed up feet, I might as well become a ballet dancer!" I can see his new career is off to a good start, he has already learned "7th position"...plie, and chomp! plie and chomp! Posted by Hello

well, it looks like caspi's olympic high jump career is over. I believe he has somehow broken his toe. He's going to the vet on monday to be checked out, but in the meantime I tried to splint his toe with a match and masking tape. This failed miserably and just made him irritated. I'm not sure whether the vet can do anything, I don't think they make beardie casts or splints, but hopefully it will repair itself. so so sad, because it is really painful for him when I fiddle with it. I hope it doesn't end his jumping career, but since he probably broke it jumping, maybe that isn't so bad after all. Posted by Hello

and just so we all know how big the "baby" is getting...we can see his belly hangin' down. of course, this piccy was taken after dinner of a dozen four week old crickets [yikes those things are big!] Posted by Hello

wow...been a while since caspi has posed for piccys. now he's over 12" long, and as we can all see...HE's ALL TAIL! Posted by Hello
